# Stopping my apprenticeship

Step 1. Log into the digital apprenticeship service.

Step 2. Click on Apprentices

Step 3. Click manage your apprentices

Step 4. Select the apprentice you want to remove from the list of apprentices

Step 5. Click edit status on the apprentices page

Step 6. Click stop this apprentice

Step 7. Enter the date you want to stop this apprentice and then select save and continue

Step 8. Enter if the apprentice has been made redundant or not and then select save and continue

Step 9. Select confirm stop apprentice and then select save and continue

At this point you have stopped the apprentice, you can now either sign out or re-add the apprentice ids the apprentice is looking to restart the apprenticeship to re-add the apprentice please let your us know that you have now stopped the apprentice and wish for us to reserve finding and add them on as an apprentice.
